Simple Beauty

Hello little flower
How are you this morning?
Did you sleep well?
Oh little flower look how beautiful you are
As you grow and grow
And twine and twist
Your lovely leaves are strong and green and velvet smooth
Your stem is devoted in attention
O pretty flower look at you
I am confounded at your poised stature
But none of your features could surpass the best part of you
The blazing, vibrant bloom atop your stem
O what splendor!
The scintillating, shining, vivacious efflorescence wonder
A perfect sphere of a blinding, bright yellow
Transcends any other flower in the entire universe
It is amazing to see such unrequited yet fascinating beauty
Well my dear flower I shall leave to you to your sun bathing
Good bye, my sweet dandelion
You will never be a weed to me….
