The Simple Complexity
Some words are meant to hurt,
Others to make you fall in love
Yours did both,
Our love was so real,
So beautiful,
So priceless,
But I found myself to be mistaken,
You promised me happiness,
And for some time you did,
But then the day came,
In which our love was no more,
You gave me no explanation,
No reason at all,
You left without warning,
Had I done something wrong?
Out of my anger I say,
Had I known my fate,
I would never have loved you,
But I think back and realize,
this is the simple complexity,
No matter how much pain I am currently in,
I don’t regret any beautiful moment we shared,
It was so simple to love you,
Yet so complicated to understand our ending,
Although you have hurt me,
I can only wish you the best,
Because learning to love is learning to let go
Something wrong with this poem?
