Simple Fantasies

As I wait in line for hell, I see you there

You're standing two people left of me

And four to the back

Surrounded by oppressive air gravity shifts

And leaves me at your feet

You join my trek to the kiosk of damnation,

and with a mischievous smirk, produce two cards

marked get out of jail free

Taking my hand with undeniable grace

we ascend to my personal heaven, the land of words and secrets to keep

Because during all this, I was too afraid to open my eyes and escape this good dream
