The Simple Joys

What makes me smile?
Well that's a funny question,
For the things worthwhile,
To me at least,
Are simply a facial expression.

A sparkle in the eye,
A grin that stretches wide,
A laugh that reaches the heavens in the sky.
See these are the things that make me smile,
And feel happiness inside.

To see someone else glad,
Is better than any sweets,
Any new fashion fad,
Or even a favorite movie.
Other people's happiness are my favorite treats.
