The Simple Life

I will always choose

the simple life.

The path that winds around

the fragrant lilac bushes,

that meanders across

the hillside,

and flows down

through the river valley.

It may not be the easiest path.

In fact, it may be treacherous.

There may be steep cliffs,

and jagged rocks,

and avalanches.

But you don't have to wait

to reach the top of the mountain

to see the breathtaking view.

Every moment

will be beautiful

in it's own way.

Each step

along the journey

will be

an important part

of the trip.
