Simple Man
I'm nothing but a simple man,
In a world of grey, with far too much to say.
Though I may be a simple man,
I wake each day with a complex plan.
Redeem my worth,
I plan to push forth,
Produce the songs our generation longs,
Create the films that move our hearts.
The notes and chords I plan to write,
The films i'll edit every night.
Surprise the world with my quick wit,
Ignite the fires in my mind I see fit,
Use lyrics to save a sad girls life,
Use films to unite and end all strife.
I'm nothing but a simple man,
I wake each day with a complex plan,
I plan to create songs and films,
Add color to the world we think is damned.
