The Simple Pleasures
Quality is measured
by the simplest of pleasures
the smallest of many
are the rewards to treasure
The touch of your lips
Pressed against mine
for that extra second
our hearts entertwine
Into your eyes
I see your soul
what I see inside
is palpable
with baited breath
until the next time we meet
to hold you again
Is what makes me complete
love is an action
not a word
the hearts
demonstration
of care and concern
No amount of wealth
can buy such content
for the simplicity of pleasure
is what you give
