Simple Silver Circle
A simple silver circle,
Three simple words engraved,
Three words that hold a promise,
Between both you and me.
It's worn upon a band,
A simple long black cord,
Beside it hangs two nails,
Bent in a common form.
This simple silver circle,
Bonds two hearts together as one.
Each day that both are worn,
Is another day together.
