Simple Story

My story is just a simple one.

I live an average life.

But through my days, I have a plan.

To strive for what I can.

I am going out of state for college.

I am told that they are only dreams.

But I want to stick by my goals,

and learn about the world and achieve.

My story has only started.

For that I am starting a new chapter.

Going away from my old friends to make new.

To learn and explore, and make do.

I always dreamed of owning a bakery.

But wonder what else interests me.

My best friend is going to be my side.

At least I know that I won't be too lonely.

In all honesty, I have not wrote poetry in awhile.

But as I write, my story is told.

A simple one but more behind words.

I know what I want to achieve.

But at the end of the day,

A goal without a plan, is just a wish.
