"Simple Summer"

Location

Air fresh with excitement,

Breeze flowing through the trees.

The sun’s rays kissing my skin,

Leaving me with a Caribbean glow.

The open road was a rollercoaster,

A rollercoaster of memories.

Ice cream thick as molasses,

Laughs we shared all day.

The cool pool water was rather refreshing.

Soon the sun traded places with the moon,

But the night was still a ways away.

I took a stroll to the edge of the world,

Peering over its vast abyss.

That’s what made it so special,

The days were created by our endless imagination.

Red hot days,

Fun filled nights.

Summer was made from dreamy sights.

Though those days will come to an end,

We will see them once again.

Summer.
