Simple Things.

It's the simple things in life, that mean the most.

From peanut butter pancakes, to jam with toast.

Every single morning, the smell of existence.

The desire to succeed, the heavy persistance.

Even the lunchtime Mac-n-Cheese.

It's the small things, that really please.

Without these simple joys, I would be lost.

I wouldn't know to tie my shoes, or pay the cost.

From licking all the chocolate off a spoon.

To having those aspirations of going to the moon.

Acting carelessly on a Friday night.

Simply wearing jeans a little too tight!

It's the simple things in life, that please me.

It's the simple things in life, that are the key.
