I remember the simple times when life was easier When school was fun and homework was done before home was reached College and the future was decades ahead And it was hard waiting for your birthday Using the phone was a rare occasion and you didn't mind Your friends lived a house away and it was playtime was always Now there is too much homework and not enough time Being a grown up is a day away And now my life is supposed to start But sometimes I remember the simple times
