Simplicity
the beauty of simplicity is an art in itself
toes touching the dewy summer morning blades of grass
the shock of life received when splashing your face with cool water,
this is the beauty of simplicity.
often we forget to stop and breathe
when you have paperwork, deadlines
and overhead lights shining on your cubicle
you forget.
forget the softness of cool beach sand between your toes
the warmth in your belly from the flicker of affection in a lover's eyes
a sunny morning that holds no commitments
the innocence of a child's grin
forgotten in the fast pace of life.
