Simplicity of Change

Change

As if nothing has happened

We gone on living our daily lives

We stand, idle

We walk, idle

We talk, we listen, we speak, idle

Never realizing the changes we go through daily

A drastic event, or a simple mistake

Either ways, we usually fail to realize it

But eyes that have evolved

Are better equiped to notice it

And these eyes can be another daily gesture

But yet treasure to those who do not own it

I have these eyes

But I don't treasure them

They're nothing more than normal

Yet they cause an abnormal amount of difference

Through these eyes

I have seen what others try to avoid

What others do not want to see

What others refuse to accept

That one idea, that sits ideal, alone

Change

Through these eyes, I have notice how time has changed me

How being around different people

Has had a drastic impact on my life

People who are happy

People who are sad

People who are energetic

Those who love

Those who hate

All have greatly affected me

I no longer sit, ideal

Sharing the same loneliness as this idea

I ventured forward

Creating my own path as I walk

I speak words

That breat the glass the remains as my cage

I reach for the unknown

Becoming the potter,

shaping my destiny as if it is clay

Just a simple idea

With the most complex and drastic impact

Always a part of our lives

But remaining invisible to most

Creating the things common and abnormal

Me
Our world
