Simply Amazing.

Poetry lives inside my untied bones and mystic mind

The body of a caged bird who was unfettered to survive.

That amazing feeling that writing two lines brings

The amazing feeling of having wings that are not tied to a broken shackle

I have lived a life where my dreams were not incapable of being the real deal

But a life of wholesome reality where I see young men succeeding instead of going to jail.

Sat watching Kanye West perform "Bittersweet" believing that one day that can be me,

See dreams are what amazes the mind

Captivates a nation and tends to override.

The lives of so many who are just like me ages of 1-23

We all see a world where we think that we aren't beautiful,amazing,awesome,loved,passion,here and not there.

I wondered if my hair was long enough for a guy to even look my way,

I wondered if my smile even made God stop to say

I wondered if I were awesome enough to gain attention of some bars I probably wouldn't think were good

Then I sat there with my ugly truth

If we don't stay where we are or be who we are what difference would it make if we are near or far?

So next time you think you aren't awesome just sit and read a little piece of poetry to me.
