Simply Because of You
Words are so pure in our conversations,
Speaking of our goals, dreams, and admirations.
Late nights when we cherish each other’s presence,
Building connections through the silence.
We’d smile at how comfortable we were with each other,
Sharing our love and energy with one another.
Going on dates to different places like it’s our first time,
Blinding others because together we shine.
We stand close together mentally and physically,
I’m his lover and that’s for an eternity.
When feeling low I instantly become a motivation,
Life without you there won’t be determination.
Every step we take is always protected, with God watching over us,
I see achievements being detected.
I don’t smoke but your compliments keep me high,
If nobody got me I know you’ll never leave my side.
The little things I notice like your golden skin, white teeth, and brown hair,
Shows you just how much I care.
A bond that we have will live on forever,
Young or old I’ll never stop loving you NEVER.
