Simply G

A silly pun,

A random expression,

A wacky dance,

Just for a second of a happy glance.

On my mom and bro,

My best friend,

A nameless store clerk

I don't even know.

Somehow when the road seems dark,

when thoughts don't seem clear,

when the stress compiles,

I have the gift of placing a smile.

I seek the opportunity,

I dream of the day,

Of being someone's mental break.

I measure life in laughter and smiles, this poem captures my every day self. I have lived a very difficult life, along with my loved ones, and I do not let that get the best of me and turn cold. I prefer to lighten the mood, or makes someones day.
