Simply Me

 Everyday

I wish and dream

I hope and pray

For things to be

I wish for love

And dream of laughter

I hope for better

And pray for answers

I’ve got no sisters

Of whom to play

I’ve got no brothers

To chase away

I hate to read

I love to write

I write all morning

And through the night

I sing in the shower

I sing on the phone

I sing in public

And when I’m alone

Laughing ‘til I cry

Something I do best

My friends by my side

Laugh until I die

Be who you are and

Not you you’re no

Everyone will love you better

If you give it your best shot

I love the makeup

I love the guys

I’ve got brown hair

And hazel eyes

By now I hope

You’ve realized

I’m just simply me
