Simply Me

I was never the people person, but I found them fascinating.

I wouldn’t fascinate on them for much longer.

I discovered I can never know ones story by

observation it must be told, by them.

I’ve loved, and hated, laughed and laughed harder,

flied and soured far away from home.

On a plane I mean.

Unless you’d like to think of me as an eagle.

I’ve lost my mind, my favorite chopstick, and my dog

named Coco all in one week.

I’ve always known I was loving.

I’ve never liked how some people treated others.

The some people were horrible.

I used to like going to school, and learning.

I used to be convinced that Never Land was real,

and I wanted to live with Tinker Bell.

I used to want to grow up.

I am always sweet according to my grandpa.

And he says I’m too sweet.

So should I be bitter?

I am very close to my friends in fact they

are the family I chose myself.

I wouldn’t change them for the world.

I am much too guilty of trusting anyone who has

the nerve to say they care about me.

I am delightfully chilled to the spine when a baby laughs,

the sound is soul saving, peaceful, and innocent.

I couldn’t tell you how much I hate when people make

judgments about others.

I also couldn’t tell you how little tolerance I have when people say

“she is ugly’’, because whets the definition of beauty?

It’s being ignorant and obnoxiously inhumane.

I couldn’t even explain how much I adore holding Arsovena

because it seems as if all my worries are set free.

I couldn’t label Alexa as anything less than my twin born the same day

just meeting me 10 years later.

After all she keeps me sane.
