The world is a dark and dreary place

But you are the light in my life

You are the sunbeams caressing my skin

As if saying hello to an old friend

You are the burst of warm air

When opening the oven after baking

You are the bedazzlement of colors

During a meteor shower

You are the pop of brightness

Seen in every spring blooming tree

You are the warmth of a cozy sweater

Right after taking it out of the dryer

You are so so much to me

And I'm not very good with words

But I see you in every happy thing
