Sin in Me

Lord I stand before you a sinner, that’s me. Knowing your love and grace is what I need. Asking you to put me on the right path, To remove each burden I have. I need your love, I need your mercy. I’m lost without you. Can’t you hear me? I’m lost without your grace. I need strength from you to run this race. It was your mighty hand that brought me out When I was doped up and in doubt. You delivered me from my addiction and the heavy burden of my self will. When the world and the system gave me a raw deal, It was you that brought me through. All filled with sin, not knowing what to do You said to me, it’s okay my child come to me As filthy as you may be. I came to bring the heart broken to pieces. So the pain of their life journey will cease. I love you no matter what you’ve heard. The sinners I came to save, that’s in my word. Come just as you are, just take one step. I’ve heard you scream, I’ve comforted you when you wept. Take my hand child, just be still. I will help you through you self will.
