Sincerely

Dear _______,

Scorn;

fill yourself with the bitterness of contempt

and file through a cesspool of historical revenge,

yet you are despicable in your wake

to know that giants sleep

and slumber benevolently,

but you offer only a blade

of death

and sleek antiquity.

You'll set yourself ablaze,

torn asunder.

You'll witness the cemetary of our worldly wonders;

feign ignorance to

moral warning,

wrap the past in poisoned sap,

risk the present that goes foreboding

and reap the future in earthly trap.

There is supposed to be a balance.

No longer found in foundries dry,

bound to look at old men cry,

to hear the sound of dying babes,

and screech the women that sob and beg,

so you can have your grand epiphany

and bask in religious sophistry

to preach the words that defy our world

and oppress on us

an equivalent blasphemy.

Sincerely,

_______.
