Sincerely, Her
Dear those who think they know,
here's a story about this lonely chick
her life so sad it could really be a flick
when it all started in grade five
when boys tugged, pulled but could never look her in the eye
treated her like she was just a toy
little did she know it would only get worse with the boys
she went on to grade seven
tall, starry eyed she thought she could save him
but all in the end he broke her little heart
found she wasn't his one and only, she fell apart
finally here come summer sixteen
she started feeling like a real teen
until came creepin' this thievin' thing
he had his game planned
sweet talk, steal her heart, and act like a real man
when it came to this
pushed her down, ignored the stop, decided to confuse no with yes
from this she was scarred, never to look at a man the same
never let anyone get close enough to truly pick her brain
only her old best friend
until once in high school he came back in the picture again
but only to persue her
she trusted him, didn't know she really shouldn't, he truly fooled her
he only wanted one thing, then tossed her aside when she wouldn't give it up
that's when she really gave up
she tried long distance so he couldn't hurt her
yet it all hurt the same
lost a best friend
because of her lying games
then one day he popped up, it was truly strange
she was so confused
why did he choose?
she stopped and decided not to question it
let's go why not try it?
he was good, respected her
then things took a turn
causing her anger to burn
only put out by the tears in her eyes
leaving her wondering, what's wrong? is it me or the guys?
Sincerely, her
