Sing!
One thing life has given me,
Is a gift for all to see.
This gift is very special and close to my heart,
I sing with a passion--it is a true art.
Like a bird that sings up high in a tree,
I find myself singing quite complacently.
Even in doubt or fear,
I still sing with a lot of cheer.
I love to sing for others,
But most especially my mother.
My caroler group sings for all kinds of people,
Singing in church bellows up to the steeple.
Another favorite of mine is singing in show choir,
When I am up on stage I have zeal and feel like fire.
My gift brings rapt joy to others around me,
And that is something I do truly believe.
When I hear the beat my feet can not stop,
I am singing so loudly it reaches the hilltops.
But this gift is more than I can explain,
It is something valuable that I can proclaim.
