Sing With Me

Sing with me as you hold my hand,
Join the chorus of my blood,
 The rushing in my ears.
Learn the lyrics of my love,
 Sing them, snoring in sleep.
 The instruments are children’s laughter
 And a steady heartbeat.
Sing with me now, sing softly, sing smoothly.
 Stamp along to fluttering lashes,
 Chiming compliments and gaggling giggles.
Feel the sounds, recognise them, tap your feet.
 Sing, skip and listen.
Sing my love, sing yours, sing ours.
 Sing with me.
