single

Single
By Nate kemp
1,2,3,4,5 minus 1 cuz I can't truly be alive...
But can it be a lie or is it just my imagination...
It seems like every girl I talk to the talk don't last long and the relationship falls apart after her...
Procrastination...
Its not like I'm addicted to thoughts of her and I'm mentally masturbating...
I'm addicted to the thought of her and I'm mentally procrastinating to hope that when I get to my final destination she'll be there ever so anxiously waiting...
But then in the end on my journey I decided to play it safe and stay single most of the time...
Selflessness selfishness either way I was more self centered than the lava that flows in the center of the earth...
You'll get it later...
Tried to have a healthy relationship when in reality I knew it would never work...
So caught up in my mind so caught in her love as if it was everlasting...
She got me fucked up this must be the thing she was talking about that she said will be everlasting...
I'm forever basking in shit that's benign...
It ain't that big of a deal...
How I get full off her love when it was nothing but a breakfast bar...it was never really  surreal... That's how I like it...
And these other girls been given me a full course meal...
Well I guess with the less comes the best no need for compensation...
Its just that it sucks she's in my mind always
I need some outlet for my anger than here in these poems I'm wasting...
a silhouette of love like an apparition she is oh so rare...
So I try to be single till the day I get there...
