A Single Flame

A Single Flame Trinity Preston, 2019

The Flame in the air

Burns in great despair

As the people inside have moved

From a life beyond repair.

As the flame spreads

Life as we know it, is dying off

As our loved ones suffered

Being caught in the flame, all alone

But you will all fly like angels

And die like warriors

Just because your lost

Doesn’t mean you can’t be found

But every time I turn, to look around

I see your face clear, In the distinguished ashes

I see the rock, and brick building

Scattered, all over 86th Street

I see the famous coffee shop where we

Dared to meet, and I think about our memories

As I see the sweet sensational ocean shore

I realize that without you, there It’s all a bore

It soon begins to rain, then I think about

The pain, from the single flame, that started and burned it all

As I look in the mirror In see, what can only be

What In wish, could have saved your life

I could have warned you

But I chose not to

Due to sleep depriving emotions

Due to isolating pain, This is what I call love

Love is hope for the rest

With faith tattooed on your chest

Knowing that you will not fail

Love is laughter, memories

Much like the stars in the sky

As the chemtrail chemicals help us slowly die

The spread of fire and chemicals will kill us

Natural disaster will leave the human race

Fortunately in dust

All of our oxygen deprived

Waiting to see the ground again

Knowing that, what might happen

That the earth could die in the end

The world is one big flame

As I light it over and over again

I watch it flicker on and off like a light switch

And with a switch, means power

Which increases by the hour

The pattern repeats with deaths of many people,

By a single flame

Maybe this time around the fire will tame

We may be able to start over again,

From whatever remains, left of the 21st century

Human race

The last petal drops from off of a flower

The last tree drops within the hour

Their is nothing left but dirt and rock

No more rivers, boats,or  a harbor dock

No more humanity as we know it

The world is now cold, quiet and bleak

Now I stare down these empty streets

While your lying their soulless and weak

Everywhere there are puddles of blood and bones

They tell me to stop like orange construction cones

As the silences is deafening

And the wind is humming while whistling

This is beginning to seem malice

I approach what I thought was shelter to shield me

Then I seen about a million dead bodies. So my footsteps quickly recede

Only then does the sky start to bleed.

The human race has now concluded due

To this cryptic future that the earth  will soon possess

As this malevolent force shadowing

Over our old earth. The human race is dead and was slayed

Much like a dragon

There  are no secrets in this new world

It’s only the beginning, But I know that

The human race is fragile but very willing

From the flame that dropped this septic

Disaster from the skies peculiarities and

To think that nobody even noticed the

Seclusion of earth in the first place.

But I look back before I die and I

Realize that the fault of earth is in

Your hands. The fate of earth is your fault

All along. I didn’t expect for this to end…..end this way

Sorry isn’t acceptable because if that was the case,

You wouldn’t have killed the human race.

You sat there and watched earth burn

To the ground. You were the only person

That I trusted in the first place but I

Wrote this poem out of pain and haste

So that you could get a taste of what

A lifeless scene looks like. This poem

Will hopefully make you think. Think about

What could happen any day,not what could happen now

You only care when It’s time for fate

To decide where your going and when your going.

Hopefully you have listened to this warning the end of humanity

Started with a single flame

As the last star has fallen from the sky as the

Meteors strike, we have no choice

But to die. As I glance In the distance the giant fireball sent from our sins,

I realize that in the end your the only one that wins

My tongue touches the roof of my mouth one last time,

I use my last breath to speak the unspoken

“As the silence is deafening, and the wind is humming while whistling”

Before the fireball knocks all the fire out of me

It’s suddenly clear to see

That the edge of humanity

Was never meant to be  stopped

We were supposed to die suddenly

I hope you have read this poem

without, pain and depression

That’s not the message, It’s more of an unanswered question.
