Sinking

Oh! The ship is sinking.
If only that was wishful thinking.
Every day and night!
Every breath and fright!
Only If it is only possible to leave this roller-coaster nightmare.
Getting sick of that person telling me life is not fair.

They say it is all fair in love and war.
sitting there with your soul covered in tar.
Telling me I'll die alone.
I got all weekend, lets see if you'll answer the phone.
While you're waiting for a life to loan.

Make it through the night, it is alright.
Clinch on your hope real tight.
Once you arrive, you won't know anyone.
The ship might be sinking.
If only that was wishful thinking.

Got wooden hearts and very little might!
All be eaten by termites.
Once you arrive, you won't know me.
I'll be a distant memory.
the ship has sunk.
It is all we thunk.

Go into your hate factory and grab your coats.
Use your fancy quotes to your satisfactory.
The ship is rotting undersea and I'm nowhere to be seen.
What is there to believe?
As you stand with your lies on your sleeves.
Telling you I'll rather be alone.
I got all weekend, lets see if I'll pick up the phone.
While you're waiting for a life to loan.
The ship is long gone.
Time for a new dawn.
