Sinking

To know what I've done,

to drown in the sea.

Sinking and falling,

in a drift so deep.

My body has gone numb,

what have I become.

A hollow sound, rings from the sea.

But, I cannot hear in my state of sleep.

A cluster of waves, pulls me under.

Into a daze, a horrid slumber.

A celestial chorus from the watery ground,

makes quite an eternal sound.

A song I hear, of life of fear.

A false story of life, of a world without strife.
