Sinner's heart

My father tested me I was elevated by my father I can see the light and love in his eyes He set me on fire and left me To test my patience and faith He rescued me when im in need When i can no longer hold up with the pain My father is great One among the life we need A saviour of our souls Our fallen souls he claims Faith is what i lacked And he gave me a challenges to overcome I fought a battle with the faith left But patience ran out fuel. I was carried by the devil Swayed on purpose. Told myself he is a lie That he wont pick me up where i am now But my desire to come back and rise again Held me strong in his heart That he came right back at me Hugged me and told me I am here and i will come rescue you I am your father your saviour The one whom you look upon You are my child oh meekness one You are my creation I will destroy the ones hurting you Rest in me and i will set you free Deep down i cried And asked for forgiveness in my mind But this not so innocent heart of mine Never admitting the sins through my mouth And not even asking for forgiveness Even though father already did . Now as i bore this sins I kept thinking when is my next pitfall Where devil lay ready to catch hold of me Where angels are armoured with gods word Where i lay inbetween them And seeking help when tempted Father o father i lay still Thinking of what i can do Prayers not seeming to work And hope i always keep Singing along this broken vessels Singing the gospel once preached Amazing grace how blessed i am to be a part of you
