Sirens

All it can do is surprise, surprise, and surprise.  Compltetly ignorant of stealth as soon as it makes itself known.  However, it never drifts away like the sunrise.  It goes whenever it pleases, never a pattern shown.  Its a relentless siege of sound.  Only wanting to run away the threat.  But even if the crook is found, it continues to wail.  If only the silence would come quickly.  The beads of sweat may begin to slow.  The mind may wander the Realmof Ease and Marvel.  And the heart may be still.
