Sister

Battles waging

People caving

Hearts are breaking

The whole world is shaken

Something tells me

I haven't seen the end

That out in the world

People need friends

Lucky for me

I have the best one

A sister who knows

When life isn't fun

If only shed see

The beauty she holds

The strength she emits

Or pain she absorbs

Then she'd know

She has no reason to shame

No place for guilt

In her wonderful flame

Until the day when she sees her light

Ill stand by her side

Even in the dark of night

Battles wage

Hearts break

She smiles

And a persons day she can make.

I see that you really love your sister. Though I have a little brother and never had a sister, I still identify with your display of sibling love. Of course there are times we want to kick our sibling's behind, but the overall mutual understanding and desire for sibling love is evident among strong families. Your poem is a wondrous work highlighting great emotional substance and showing everyone what is in your heart!
