Sister

Sister, my heart weeps for you. You are weary and thirsty. Quenching every drip of sanity, It will wear off don’t you know? You will be thirsty again. Sister, I imagine you full. I see you standing by Father. With His arm wrapped around, You have never been so beautiful. Sister, be thirsty no longer, You are worthy and loved, Let me show you the well, Where water quenches thirst forever. Sister, I will wait until you are full, Until I see your peaceful face, Until I feel your warm embrace, When we begin the well’s race, Towards the everlasting water.
