The Sister I Never Knew

She was the smartest person I knew

She loved me more than I could ever know

Even thousands of miles away I knew she was always thinking of her little sister

I knew her favorite Artist

I knew her favorite food

I knew she loved Nutella

I knew she was very cool

I knew her favorite color was red

But I never knew what she went through

I never knew she was hurt

I never knew she was broke

I never knew she was broken hearted

I never knew she was used

I never saw her cry

I only knew her laugh

Until I read her word

So full of hurt and betrayal

Her words do sad and frail

I learned so much about her love

I knew she could still fight

When I found out, she was done

I felt hopeless Like I couldn’t do anything

She is my life; she is my love

An I don’t know what I would do without her, fight for me
