Sister Problems
The witch
built a house
of candy
to lure children in
because she had always
really loved children
and had never been able to have her own
due to her sister
stealing her husband
and pretending the witch had died.
So you can imagine
her excitment
when two children,
Hansel and Gretel,
wound up at her door,
and you can imagine
her anger
when her sister showed up
and locked the witch in a cage,
dressed in the witch's clothing,
and tried to kill
the only children
the witch had ever had a chance to love.
