Sister to Sister

Come, sister, I’ll tell you:

Life isn’t as easy as it seems.

It’s can be tough,

And painful,

And have many rough places,

And nothing is guaranteed-

Ever.

But I keep on going

I keep my head held high,

And work on finding true happiness,

And joy,

And sometimes good things will happen

When you are least expecting them.

So sister, don’t stop now.

Don’t give up on your dream

Because you think it’s to hard to achieve.

Don’t quit—

I’m still working my way to the top,

I’m still holding my head high,

Because life isn’t as easy as it seems.
