Sister to Sisters

Well, sisters, I'll tell you:

Life for me is something you'll eventually live too.

It's had a lot to do,

And I have to fret over the littlest of things,

And I have to fight the many demons life brings,

And I have to pretend it's not pushing down on my wings.

But all this time

I'se been trying,

And coming home when the stars are at its brightest.

And staying up doing the things that make me stressed,

And sometimes never laying down

Where my blankets and bears rest.

So you two, don't you tackle me with your voices that I have no effort to subdue.

Don't you chain yourself to the room I need for solitude

Cause you will see.

Don't you drop your leftovers onto me.

For I'se still have more to do.

I'se been trying.

And life for me is something you'll eventually live too.

Sincerely, Eldest
