Sisterhood

What is more beautiful than sisterhood? I’ll tell you. Two sisters bound by chance not by birth. Sisters bound by water, fire, air and earth. A sisterhood forged up above by heavenly fire. A bond of love that will never tire. A sisterhood wrapped in gold, with two sisters that stand strong and bold. You ask what is more beautiful? Absolutely nothing!

I am a novice poet that believes that the best poetry comes from your heart and emotions. I am a Norse Pagan who just so happens to be transgender and lesbian. I believe that the whole world is my muse and I get inspiration from everyone and everything that I come into contact with. Words are some of the most powerful things that we as humans posses and if used right; they can change the hearts of many. Art comes in many forms and poetry is one of them. So why not change the world with art, one word at a time?

Thank you. It's how I feel about my sister and that special bond that we have. When she first came into my life I was walled off and didn't trust anyone (I still don't for the most part), but we eventually started to get close. Now we are best friends.
