Sisters
My name is Jin.
This is Lily's body.
We are one.
"What makes you, you?" Perhaps the question here is "What makes Jin, Lily?"
Nothing really.
Lily is my happier half.
I'm the more protective and emotionally cut-off half, so she tells me.
Almost two years ago now, Lily marked our skin together.
Almost two years ago now, Lily no longer talks to our parents.
Almost two years ago now, I physically walked through the halls of our high school and answered to her name.
She isn't gone though. Lily is my happier half, my more creative half.
Whenever our friends come by, Lily shows up again. After all, she did love her companions.
Whenever our closest family comes by, Lily shows up again.
This time, we talk about the future.
My favorites times though, are whenever we're alone together. It's simple things like sharing the peace and quiet in our home and letting the calm wash over us. That's the kind of things I feel.
But am I real?
Or is this just another crazy imagination?
