Like Sisters

We grew up along side each other

three girls raised like sisters

Sometimes we couldn't be any different

and other times we were like the same person

They were older than I was

They knew so much more than I knew

They taught me how to deal with everything

I learned to love and express myself growing up with them

Through silent treatments and growing distances

I have felt alone and isolated

I have been the bigger person

Through thick and thin

We've been like sisters
