Sitting in Class

As I sit in class the day going by so slow

the enviroment outside has a strange glow

the dull rumbling streatches across the room

passing out failed test people faces filled with gloom

My body just jumps out of itself and grabs my hand

and we run all across the land

I see pyramids in egypt and the great wall

i hardly notice anything at all

my surroundings become new i dont think of the old

I try walking on water im starting to feel bold

the weather is warm I streach out in the sun

my legs telling me I need to run

I hear a loud smack against the front desk

I see I am different from the rest

i dreamed to long the teacher didnt get fooled

now I have to stay after school
