Sitting in a tree, as
Sitting in a tree, as peaceful as can be.
As the wind blows, melodies of the past begin to play.
Listening to the leaves rustle, you decide to stay.
Reclining further into the tree, you gaze upon the stars.
What would life be like on Mars?
Pulling out your book you begin to scribble.
While everyone sleeps, this moment is your greatest vigil.
Breathing in the night air, you daydream about what life could be.
That night when you were daydreaming in an oak tree.
