Six Feet Apart


We're six feet apart

Some would say

but in my heart 

it was only yesterday

when we truimphed and buzzed

about what our lives would portray 

all the beautiful news 

of another good day

now we sit at home

day after day

busy doing nothing 

but simply wasting away
