Six Month Long Business Trip

A solid set of four walls

A solid floor

All so very real

But that metaphoric rug

Continues to rear its ugly head

And knock me out cold

Representing the fear burning in my core

This quake of emotion shakes my whole world

A few more tears shattering on my cheeks

But what differance does it make

When your 20 hours away

I thought this time it would be

Could be

Different

Oh I couldn't have been more wrong

Six months long gone

You expecct me to be okay

Im not that strong
