Six Ways of Looking at Thanksgiving
The scrumptious smells
Sweet, savory, salty
Fill my kitchen.
The ravishing flavors
Remarkable, rich, robust
Delight my taste buds.
The perfect turkey,
A lovely centerpiece,
Sat in the middle of the table.
Sweet, juicy meat,
A great compliment
To the mashed potatoes.
Silky, creamy, fluffy
Heavenly gravy erupts
From the clouds of mashed potatoes.
Friends and family
Gather around the table
And be thankful during this tradition.
