I am no longer just bone.

I went from being on my phone to

Getting in the zone, building tone,

And gaining muscles like stone,

Because

I am no longer just bone.

It was difficult.

I listened to that insult

Saying I’ll get no results but,

I became the one with the vault

Of perfection without fault

And still it was difficult.

Never again to fall in defeat.

I would kick up my feet and get beat

And think everything was sweet.

But now I run in the heat

All the way down my street

Cause one day

I’ll be sleeping in a suite

Never again will I fall in defeat.

All I saw was complications,

Temptations, Situations,

And frustrations.

But I started to listen to God’s translations

And now I’ll stay pushing with determination.
