Skating Rink

Life is like a skating rink

Big and wonderful

Full of other people

There are times when you

Will slip and fall

The ice might crack

But not break

The ice will mend,

Eventually

There are times when you

Will slip and fall

The ice might crack and

You will fall through

The ice will mend,

But you will be

Underneath it still

Trapped beneath

Drowning...
