Skin I'm In

   They don't know,

The beautiful rich and authentic chocolate skin I'm in,

is the essential part of my beauty.

Yes! If you ask me I will say I had doubts but I'm BEAUTIFUL.

I know they tease me, mock me and criticize me behind my back,

but i wont pay them any mind.

" Oh I can only see her eyes or Oh I can only see her teeth in  the dark".

All these don't bother me because i know you cant see anyone in the dark!

The skin I'm in makes me  different from everyone!

The skin I'm in doesn't need to sit or lay in the sun for a few hours,

just to get a shade or so darker!

The skin I'm in doesn't make me feel ugly or beautiful!

All I know is that I came to love and appreciate my skin for without it,

"THERE WON'T BE ANY IDENTITY TO MY BEING!!!!!!!"
