Skinny

Your words were thorns pricking my body

"eat a cheeseburger"

"you'll dissapear if you turn sideways"

skinny ankles

a small wrist

and skinny arms

a list of the things you would call out.

Your words were insults to me

I can't change my weight.

I even ate that cheeseburger you told me to eat

it didn't make a difference.

I should not be called out for my weight. I should not be offended  because of my body.

If I love my body, why can't you?

Love all bodies equally.
