The Sky

As I stare at the sky
I can't help but remember
All the pain
All the hurt
And none of the love
You had me
But you used me
You loved me
But you beat me
You carried me
But you sacrificed me
You laid beside me
As you killed me
What am I to you
But yet what am I to this world
Am I something more than a used tool
I feel as though you lost me
Or I had lost you
It is my fault
I deserved death
Because I am nothing more
Than water in a desert
I am nothing more
Than nothing
